Jennifer was born and raised in Charleston, South Carolina, where she inherited a love for being on the water and racing sailboats. She first ventured to Maryland to attend St. Mary’s College of Maryland. Jennifer graduated St. Mary’s with a Bachelor’s Degree in Religious Studies and minors in Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies and African and African Diaspora Studies. She did this while competing as a starter on the Women’s Sailing Team all four years of her college career. Jennifer has competed and placed in several Collegiate Sailing National Championships.
After college Jennifer returned to Charleston, South Carolina and began working in the marine industry. A few years later Jennifer decided to attend law school with the goal of using her college and law education as a back drop for helping people from varying cultures and backgrounds.
During law school Jennifer worked as a law clerk for the Anne Arundel County State’s Attorney’s Office. Jennifer graduated from the University of Baltimore School of Law in January of 2013. Upon graduation, Jennifer was hired as an Assistant State’s Attorney for Anne Arundel County. In December of 2014 Jennifer joined the Holden & Campbell family where she enjoys assisting clients in creating estate plans tailored to their unique families and interests.
In her spare time, Jennifer enjoys racing sailboats with her husband, Chris, and playing with her two dogs and two cats.
